BirdRisk is a project by Proportione, LDA. We respect your privacy and only ever collect the personal data you choose to give us. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the rights you have over it.

01Information we collect

We only collect personal information — such as your name, email address, phone number and IP address — when you voluntarily provide it, for example by joining the BirdRisk beta waitlist. If you join the waitlist, the only data we need is your email address.

02How we use your information

We use the information exclusively for the purposes expressed at the time it is collected. For the waitlist, that means contacting you about the BirdRisk beta and launch — no more than necessary. We may also use it to improve our service and respond to your enquiries. The legal basis for processing your waitlist email is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time.

03Email and the waitlist

Waitlist emails are handled through our email provider Brevo (Sendinblue SAS), acting as a data processor on our behalf. We will send you no spam — only relevant updates about BirdRisk — and every email includes an unsubscribe link. Unsubscribing removes you from the list.

04Cookies

The BirdRisk website is a single static page. Any cookies are used only to improve your experience and for site analysis and optimisation — never to track you across sites or for advertising.

05Security

We implement a variety of security measures, including advanced encryption in transit, to keep your personal information safe.

06Sharing with third parties

We do not sell, rent or transfer your personal information to third parties without your explicit consent — except for trusted providers (such as our email provider above) who help us operate the service and who are bound to keep your data confidential.

07Data retention

We keep your waitlist email only for as long as we need it for the purpose you gave it — until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it, whichever comes first.

08Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, port and object to the processing of your personal data, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these, email us at hello@birdrisk.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority — the CNPD in Portugal or the AEPD in Spain.

09Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will be published on this page with a revised "last updated" date. By using our website, you accept this Privacy Policy.
